In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred eleven Kashmiri youth near Rana Post in Gurez area of Bandipore, today. Earlier, an Indian Lieutenant was killed and two troopers were injured in the same area during a clash with Mujahideen. Indian army claimed that the killed youth were militants. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, addressing a gathering in Srinagar said that the strategically important location of occupied Kashmir was forcing international attention towards its resolution. Meanwhile, complete shutdown was observed in Bijbehara town on the first martyrdom anniversary of Nazir Ahmad Wani who was killed by Indian paramilitary forces on this day during last years uprising in the occupied territory. APHC leader, Zafar Akbar Butt, addressing a gathering at Mazar-e-Shuhada in the town said that mission of the Kashmiri martyrs would be taken to its logical end against all odds. Indian police beat up and detained two photojournalists including a foreigner when they were covering anti-India protests at Nowhatta in Srinagar. Dead body of an elderly civilian was recovered from Nullah Lidder near Bagwani in Islamabad. An Indian trooper was injured in a landmine blast at Nangi in Krishna Ghati area of Poonch. In Brussels, the Chairman of Kashmir Centre, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement said that permanent peace in South Asia was not possible without resolving the Kashmir dispute.
