MIRPUR (AJK) - The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet on Saturday while vehemently condemning PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharifs recent alleged irresponsible statement regarding Two Nation Theory termed it a blatant pre-planned conspiracy against democracy and democratic norms in the country. The AJK cabinet, which met in Muzaffarabad on Saturday with the newly-elected Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed in the chair, termed Nawazs statement as against the constitution of Pakistan, Charter of democracy and a blatant attempt to betray with the Kashmir cause. Showing concerns over statement given during his address at SAFMA recently, the cabinet passed a resolution asking Nawaz Sharif to respect the mandate of the people of Pakistan and wait for the elections till the completion of the tenure in accordance with the constitution.The aforesaid statement of N awaz Sharif not only negated Two Nation Theory but also against the national interests, national security institution, the status of the Pakistan Army and just peaceful struggle of Kashmir cause, the resolution said. It further elucidated that Two Nation Theory is the foundation of Pakistan and Kashmir freedom movement and Nawaz Sharif has caused irreparable loss to the Kashmir Cause. The cabinet, at the same time, applauded the statement of Editor-in-Chief Nawa-i-waqt and The Nation Majeed Nizami, that condemned Mr Sharifs stance on Two Nations Theory saying it was even against the official stance of Muslim League, and the establishment of Pakistan. In another resolution, the AJK cabinet lauded the press conference by US Centre John McCain, in New Dehli, after detailed visit to Islamabad, Gilgit & Baltistan, Ladakh and Srinagar, emphasising the acceptable and durable solution of the Kashmir dispute. In the light of very report cabinet demanded America and international community to play their role for the resolution of long-standing dispute of Kashmir. AJK Cabinet showed grave concerns over terrorism especially the recent wave that deprived many of their lives and left hundreds others bereft and grieved. The AJK Cabinet reiterated its firm faith to continue struggle for the internationally recognized right to self-determination of Kashmiris and assured the people in Indian occupied Kashmir that the government and people of Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir will leave no stone unturned for the freedom of the entire state and its accession to Pakistan.
