A cop of Azad Kashmir Reserve Police has been arrested in the case of Jinnah avenue incident in Islamabad as he is said to be the co-accused.

As per details, head constable Syed Hassan Murtaza met first time with Sikandar when he was deployed in the jurisdiction of Azad Kashmir for professional duties, and Sikandar was there along with family on a joy trip. Sikandar and Hassan Murtaza only talked for few minutes, while further investigations have been started in this regard. As per initial investigation of Islamabad police, Sikandar has three more friends.

Out of three friends 2 belong to Hafizabad, while one is head constable of the AJK Police who has been also brought to Aabpara Police Station Islamabad.

Arrest of Syed Hassan Murtaza has worried in his family while the police high-ups are unaware of the development.

5,707 vehicles challaned:

District Traffic Police during July challaned 5,707 vehicles and imposed a total fine of Rs1,975,000, said Ghulam Meran, in-charge traffic police. The police have also cancelled licenses of eight drivers while route permit of five vehicles were suspended on the charge of violating traffic rules.

The police also impounded 4,017 vehicles violating traffic rules.
