LAHORE: German Ambassador Dr Cyrill Nunn called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar at the Governor’s House Tuesday and discussed various matters of mutual interest.
The governor said Pak-German relationship will grow and stressed the need for enhanced trade, education and investment.
He stresses upon enhancing bilateral trade on the basis of greater exchange of business delegation. He also invited the German and other international community to come and invest in Pakistan, as the Government a friendly and secure environment to investors.
On this occasion, the German ambassador thanked the governor Punjab and endorsed Pakistan’s point of view on the principal issues.
He also said that Pakistan played an exemplary and pivotal role for the eradication of terrorism and in restoring peace in this region.
He also assured that the Government of Germany will be extending its full corporation and support in all sectors, especially in trade and education and lauded the hospitality of the people of Lahore and termed it as a city of vibrant and lively people.–Staff Reporter
