DUBAI - The central executive committee of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) decided to staunchly oppose any movement to derail democracy in the country.

The meeting was chaired by party’s Patron-in-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chaired by former President Asif Ali Zardari. Former PM Yousaf Raza Gilani, Faryal Talpur, Sherry Rehman and Syed Khursheed Shah attended the meeting. Some viewed the current political situation as PML-N’s fault. Bilawal proposed that only dialogue could resolve this ongoing crisis.
