Imran Khan believes that PML-N government is corrupt, and that they have taken huge kickbacks and personal graft on all mega projects. Now they have taken huge loans at very high interest rates, from IMF, as they say to pay off the previous loans. Such loans are transformed into sales tax and charged to the poor and middle class people, while the loan money goes into their personal accounts. This has increased the price of daily commodities as well as electricity and gas.
The poor pay tax from their salaries, on their houses or small business while the rich have exemption from these taxes. After announcing civil disobedience those borrowers will stop giving such backbreaking loans to our government so that we are not shackled for the rest of our lives and for generations to come. If this is true, it is a good decision. Imran Khan is not an uneducated person who takes any action without consulting legal fraternity. May he succeed in bringing real change to this country.
