Attock            -        DC Attock Ali Anan Qamar has said that to maintain law and order during the Muharram, 78 religious scholars and Zakireen have been banned to deliver sermons for the coming 60 days.  

This step has been taken under Punjab Maintenance of Public Order 2017. Those banned include Mualana Muhammad Siddique, Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, Maulana Qari Naveed Masood Hashmi, Maulana Masood ur Rehman, Maulana Abdul Qadeer, Maulana Muhammad Ishaq, Mualana Muhammad Tayyab, Maulana  Sajid Rehman, Maulana Abdul Hameed Nadeem, Maulana Abdul Shakoor, Maulana Syed Chiragh Din, Maulana Abu Bakr Chishti, Maulana Muhammad Hanif Qureshi, Allama Aziz ud Din Kokab and Maulana Muhammad Hanif Chishti all from Rawalpindi district; Maulana Baz Khan, Maulvi Habib Bux, Maulvi Mohy ud Din, Muhammad Fayyaz, Qari Asad Farman, Zakir Ghulam Qamar, Zakir Sajid Hussain Sajid and Zakir Chun Sajid from Chakwal; Maulana Ahmad Ludhianvi, Maulana Mufti Umer Haidri, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Jhangvi, Maulana Mansoor Ahmad Jhangvi, Maulana Shahadat Ali Tahir, Maulana Fayyaz Bux, Maulana Muavia Azim Tariq, Maulana Basharat Ali Tahir, Maulana Qari Riaz Jhangvi, Zakir Syed Zargham Abbas and Maulana Ishaq Turabi from Jhang; Maulana Ata Ullah Bandialvi, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Ghuman, Maulana Zia ul Haq, Sahibzada Syed Irfan Shah Mashadi, Zaigham Abbas, Zakir Abid Hussain Shah, Maulana Manzoor Hussain Naqvi, Zakir Nazar Hussain and Muhammad Hussain Dhakoo from Sargodha; Maulana Islam Din Usmani and Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah from M.B.Din; Maulana Muhammad Rafiq and Maulana Muhammad Sidiq from Faisalabad; Maulana Sultan Mehmood Zia, Dr Nasir Abbas and Maulana Syed Taqi Naqi from Multan; Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqi from Karachi; Zakir Muhammad Nawaz from Layyah; Zakir Zaigham from Gujrat; Maulana Khizar Hayat, Maulana Zameer Hussain, Maulana Haidar Khan and Ali Hussain Qummi from Bhakar; Maulana Abdul Hai Abid, Maulana Yousaf Rizvi, Maulana Asif Ashraf Jalali, Maulana Ghulam Raza Jhandvi and Syed Abbas Naqvi from Lahore; Zakir Ghulam Asghar and Maulana Abdul Mateen from Gujranwala; Zakir Mureed Hussain and Malik Ejaz Hussain from Khushab; Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haqani and Zakir Ilyas Raza Najfi from D.G.
