LAHORE-A nine-member delegation of New South Wales, an Australian state led by Amanda Fazio, the Chairperson of State Senate of Australia, called on Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Muhammad Iqbal at assembly chambers on Monday. Besides judge of Australian Supreme Court, Justice Harrison, TV journalist, Miss Hannah and Pakistani Counsel General in Sydney, Hamid Asghar Khan, the delegation included members of Australian parliament and senior officers of Australian government. Issues of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting. The Speaker told the delegation about reservation of seats for the minorities and other measures government had taken to protect their rights. Rana Iqbal said that Pakistan and Australia could cooperate in the fields of livestock, education, health and trade.
