Ecuador, Egypt and Qatar have joined countries condemning the recent terrorist attack in the southeastern Iranian city of Chabahar that left scores killed. In a message to Iran's caretaker Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Ghait strongly condemned the attack and extended condolences to the bereaved families, IRNA reported. The Qatari Foreign Ministry also issued a statement in condemnation of the attack and expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and government. The Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry also denounced the attack as abhorrent and called for the eradication of such terror elements. Iran says the perpetrators behind the Chabahar terrorist attack were trained and equipped by foreign sources beyond the country's eastern borders in Pakistan.
