LAHORE The Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry has asked the teachers to do their best to cultivate the knack of research and study in the students, the future of the country. Talking to a delegation of Punjab University deans and incharge of various faculties, who led by Vice Chancellor Mujahid Kamran called on the Chief Justice here Monday and congratulated him on his elevation to this office, Justice Ijaz Chaudhry said the country did not lack the talents but the need is, tapping the same. He stressed the need of providing peaceful atmosphere for education to the students and that talented students should be provided all that what is needed to equip them with the modern day standard of quality education. This is inevitable in order to gear up the students to meet the future needs of the country as they are the true builders of the country and the nation, he added. The Chief Justice further said the Punjab University can play an important role in preparing the students to do their best in the practical life with the help of modern day education and arts and artifice. Meanwhile a delegation of the office bearers of Depalpur Bar Association called on the CJ and congratulated him on assuming new responsibilities. The Delegation apprised the Chief Justice of its problem and the latter, promised to give a sympathetic consideration to their solution. Meanwhile the LHC Chief Justice has expressed condolences to the bereaved family of LHC Qasid Muhammad Nawaz who lost his life in a traffic accident in Lodhran. In his message to the widow, the CJ has prayed for eternal peace for departed soul and has sent a cheque of Rs 20,000 to the widow as sympathy. Additional Registrar Multan Bench of the LHC, also laid a floral wreath at the grave of the decreased on behalf of the CJ.
