KHAN GARH - The City Association Khan Garh (CAKG) has welcomed the provision of funds to the tune of Rs50 million for the up-gradation of Govt High School here.

Addressing a press conference, CAKG office-bearers including Mian Muzaffar Mehmood and Rana Amjad Ali Amjad and Shahid Khan, Fiaz Ahmad, Faisal Shaikh, Hassan Shaikh, Malik Rizwan, Rashid Sial and Mehran Ali expressed gratitude to MPA Mian Imran Qureshi for his efforts for the uplift of the area. They said that the provision of Rs50 million funds would help ensure education facilities to the local students. Now the local students will not have to go far-off areas for the acquisition of higher education,” they pointed out.

The CAKG officials also lauded the efforts of the Peace committee Khan Garh for ensuring harmony and tranquillity. Meanwhile, they also announced that the traders association and citizens will not pay the fuel adjustment surcharge in the electricity bills. They also demanded the government take notice on the injustice with the poor masses and withdraw the fuel adjustment surcharge.
