KARACHI: HBL skipper and renowned batsman Ahmed Shahzad has been fined Rs 20,000 for ‘misbehaving’ with an umpire during a match between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Habib Bank Limited (HBL).

The match was being played as part of the on-going departmental one-day cup.

The fine was imposed after Shehzad reacted to the umpire's decision, after which the match referee, Anis-ur-Rehman, reported the incident to the management, who decided to fine the cricketer with a Rs 20,000 penalty.
