Minorities friendly

Pakistan is a minorities-friendly country and our sacred places as well as properties are safe and secure and Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has undertaken exemplary steps for promotion of religious tourism here.

Leader Shiv Partab Bajaj and other members of a Hindu delegation from India , currently on a visit to their sacred places here , said this while addressing a news conference and again talking to the media people in Lahore.

In so many words, they said we are delighted to see how our Muslim brethren are taking interest in protecting our places of worship and they have no words to express their feelings for Muslim brethren in this regard.

They said that the delegation was warmly welcomed in Pakistan and vowed to convey goodwill gestures of hospitality on returning to India to their fellow Indians, some elements within India are spreading rumours across the world about Pakistan and sacred places of Hindus and Sikha here but they have witnessed nothing like that during their stay and Pakistani agencies and departments concerned ensured exemplary security and safety for the delegation members.

The delegation members said that water issue had occurred at Katas Raj due to shortage of rains and all possible steps are being to solve it at the earliest possible and also suggested that visa restrictions between the two countries should be abolished as many Indian Hindus wanted to ravel to Pakistan.

If a Hindu delegation members from India have said these appreciative and nice words, Pakistan Government and RTPB deserve congratulations and they should continue doing good work in this regard.
