KHANGARH –PML-N is likely to award its ticket to Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmad Khan, son of Nasrullah Khan, for NA-178 constituency in Muzaffargarh, sources said. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reportedly issued Rs360 million development funds for the area. MPA Mian Imran Qureshi who was elected from PP-256 on the PML-Q and then joined the forward bloc in the Punjab Assembly, claimed that his PML-N ticket for PP-256 Khangarh was confirmed.
Similarly, Malik Qaswer Langrial claimed that he would be awarded PML-N ticket for PP-257. Likewise, in PP-254, Tehmina Dasti, daughter of former Punjab minister Amjad Hameed Khan Dasti, is also an aspirant for PML-N ticket.
When contacted, Abdul Hayy Dasti said he or Tehmina Dasti will get the PML-N ticket for the constituency. Moreover, in this constituency a many other people are interested to get PML-N ticket including Hamad Nawaz Tippu, Sheikh Rashid, Mian Hussain Muna Sheikh, Zulfiqar Doger, Rao Zafar and Malik Ibrahim Khar. However, the party has not announced its candidate so far.
