Pak-Iran security agencies should collaborate: Ch Nisar

Islamabad- Emphasizing the need for closer Pak-Iran ties, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said no terrorist should be allowed to negatively influence the very close relations between the two countries.

He expressed these views while talking to the Iranian Ambassador Alireza Haghighian who called on the Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan today.

The Minister said that Pakistan's relations with Iran were embedded in common historical, cultural, religious, economic and
geographical links.

He said Pakistan-Iran relations are important for the region and also for
the whole Muslim ‘ummah’. The two muslim countries must rise above the difficulties to completely
nullify the designs of common enemies, he said.

He said the two countries and their security agencies should work together
to make the entire Pak-Iran border safe for the common citizens and a no-go
area for militants and terrorists.
