Rs355m being spent on school facilities

District Officer Planning and Development Sheikh Abid Inayat said that Rs355 was being spent on the provision of school education facilities in the district. He said that Rs290 for Education Sector Reforms program and Rs65 million would be spent on a new Special Education School for Special children at Tehsil Dunyapur.
The DO planning said that 481 schemes of education sector reforms programs (ESRP) had been approved of 200 schemes had completed at a cost of Rs150 million. He said all these schemes would also be completed by June 2014. He pointed out that under the ESRP construction of boundary walls, toilet blocks, main gates along with electricity connections and clean drinking water facilities would be provided. He claimed that tenders would be invited without any delay for the establishment of New Special Education School in Dunyapur.
