KARACHI - Former Senator and journalist Syed Shafieh Iqbal died after protected illness in Karachi on Thursday.
He belonged to Balochistan and was the chief editor of Balochistan Times. He was awarded with honorary degree of doctorate of philosophy (PhD) by the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences for services in journalism, politics and social work.
