Citizen facilitation, service centre opened in Pindi

Rawalpindi - District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sajid Zafar Dall Firday inaugurated first Citizen Facilitation and Service Centre during a ceremony here.
This centre has been established in District Complex, Rawalpindi to facilitate citizens in getting necessary documents with the coordination of all related departments. Talking on the occasion, DCO Sajid Zafar Dall expressed his gratitude to all representatives of various departments and organisations who had worked day and night and made it possible to make the first e-khidmat centre of its kind functional in Rawalpindi which would  provide prompt services to citizens  in obtaining birth certificate,  character certificate,  death certificate, marriage certificate,  divorce certificate, domicile certificate,  token tax deposit, CNIC card, Fard of land,  motor vehicle registration, vehicle transfer ownership,  getting route permit, driving license, Nadra e-Sahulat service and traffic fine Collection under one roof.
He said that it is the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif who had introduced an IT-based system to mitigate the sufferings of people in obtaining necessary documents and availing services to channelise their routine matters in an efficient manner.
He also admires the efforts of Punjab Information Technical Board which had placed the system to fulfill the requirements of citizens.
Sajjad Zafar said that e-khidmat centre was a modern concept to provide the required services under one roof and all the applicants would be also be kept informed with the process of their application, similarly they can also download the prescribed forms from the website www.fc.punjab and all pre-requisites. The Director General PITB  Sajid Latif informed that e-khidmat centres would be established in all divisional and district headquarters and it would be subsequently extended up to sub divisional level as directed by the Chief Minister Punjab to facilitate the masses. The Project Director PITB Muhammad Waseem Bhatti also briefed about the dynamics of Citizen Facilitation and Service Centre and also informed about the IT network to ensure prompt processing of all received applications.
