Islamabad-Allama Iqbal Open University declared final results of intermediate programme Spring Semester 2017 on Tuesday and placed the same at the university’s official website.

According to controller of examinations, result of BA programme will be announced within a week.

The results’ declaration is well before closing of admissions for Spring Semester 2018 to facilitate the continuing and fresh students to take admission in the next programme. Last date for the ongoing admissions is March 5, he said.

Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui advised the 44 regional offices all over the country to take all possible measures for assisting the aspiring candidates in the admission process.

The students’ enrolment showed upward trend in the recent years due to revised admission policy.  The annual enrolment has crossed 1.3 million. A number of steps were taken during the last three years that brought about qualitative improvement in the university’s overall education system, the controller said.
