It is said that oceans are made up of small drops of water. If we apply the same theory on human beings, we can say that each one of us can play an important role towards the development and progress of Pakistan. Those who say that an individual cannot bring a revolutionary change in the thinking and perception of a nation, simply turn their faces from reality. It was Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) who brought light and hope for the entire humanity. It was Allama Iqbal who for the first time saw the dream of establishment of a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia in those areas where they were in majority. It was Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah who converted this dream of Iqbal into a reality by creating a new homeland named Pakistan. In this way, there are hundreds and thousands of such examples where individuals played an important role in shaping the destiny of their nations. This world has seen hundreds and thousands of such inventions and discoveries by individuals which actually have transformed the lives of millions of souls living on the face of the earth. It is an individual who initially lights the candle of hope and optimism for others. In this way, the concept of progress multiplies from an individual to two, from two to four and so on. Each one of us, therefore, has to play an important role towards the development of Pakistan. It doesnt matter whether one happens to be a writer, a poet, an actor, a politician, a government officer, a soldier, an entrepreneur etc. Only then will we be able to transform our society from individuality to collectivity.
