Govt coping with imprudent politicians, merciless terrorists

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that more than one group was involved in terrorist attacks and currently the government, besides, terrorism, was also confronted by challenges being posed by imprudent politicians.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, the provincial minister said that not a single group was behind the wave of terrorism and a targeted operation would be launched against those launching attacks on security personal and innocent citizens. “Dialogue will be held only those elements who will lay down their arms,” he claimed.
Criticising PTI chief Imran Khan, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan’s statement on terrorism was absurd. “The government on the one hand is grappling with terrorism while on the other, ‘foolish politicians,” he criticised and added that Imran Khan was playing the role of a ‘stubborn’ child to confuse the public. “The PTI chief’s voice staggers when he talks against Taliban,” Rana Sanullah took a jibe. He said that Imran Khan did not understand the situation while giving controversial statements
To a question, the provincial minister said that it would take Election Commission of Pakistan six to eight months to carry out the delimitation.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Minister for Law and Local Govt laid the foundation stone for the construction of additional block at Govt MC Boys High School Madni Chowk Samnabad which will be completed at a cost of Rs37.20 million. Under the project 32 class rooms will be constructed in the two storey building including science laboratory and toilet blocks.
Speaking to the occasion, Rana Sanaullah said that the government had focused on provision of missing facilities in the schools besides establishment of new schools in the remote areas to promote education in the province. He said that provision of vide facilities of education was much important than that of construction of street and drains so as development of the nation was placed in command over knowledge.  He said that comprehensive development programme was being followed to improve the condition of entire schools in his constituency while Women Degree College had established been for providing higher education to the girls students at their doorsteps and post graduation classes would also be initiated in the college very soon.
The minister said that 50 bed General Hospital had been set up in Samnabad and its capacity would be increase up to 200 beds keeping in view the increasing need of the surrounding localities. He said that a number of development project were launched to improve roads in the constituency.
Rana Sanaullah said that the present govt was taking very serious steps to overcome the issues of terrorism and energy crisis. He said that national consensus was imperative to meet the challenges of terrorism and all segment of society including political leadership should extend cooperation for getting the country rid of terrorism. He elaborated the steps which had been taken by the government to steer the country out of the energy crisis within next two or three years, adding that Gaddani project had been initiated to generate 6,600 megawat electricity while solar energy park was also being completed for this purpose and two solar projects had been proposed to be initiated in Sahiwal. The Minister appreciated the educational performance of the school and said that the other required facilities would also be provided by the Punjab govt.
School Principal Asif Jehangir presented welcome address and thanked the minister for arranging huge funds for the construction of additional block. He informed that Rs5.20 million had also been provided by the Minister for setting up computer lab, library and classrooms. He highlighted the results of the school and said that eight students of the school had been awarded with Quaid-e-Azam Award.
On the occasion, School Council Vice Chairman Sultan Mehmud Awan lauded the efforts of the Law Minister for providing basic facilities to people of the constituency at their doorsteps.  Earlier, the Law Minister took a round of school and inspected the ongoing projects. He also inaugurated the school library and computer lab.
