KARACHI : tting an obstacle to the PML-N’s policy of privatising national institution, the PPP’s Sindh government announced not to accept the privatisation of Pakistan Steel Mills. A viser to the Sindh Chief Minister for Finance, Syed Murad Ali Shah declared the official position of the provincial government on Monday, criticising the federal govt for its privatisation policy. He further said that the Sindh government would use its legal options for preventing the federal government from the privatisation of Pakistan Steel Mills, and said that if the federal government would go for the privatisation, the Sindh provincial government, being the legal owner, would take back the land upon which Pakistan Steel Mills was set up. He further made it clear that if the federal government would adopt any other strategy for utilising the said land, it would be the Sindh govt to take the land back either way.
