Daughter of undivided Punjab MP laid to rest

HAFIZABAD
Kaniz Fatima Tarar, daughter of Khan Bahadur Ataullah Khan Tarar, first Muslim Member from undivided Punjab in the Viceroy Council of India died after protracted illness.
She was 90. She was laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard in Jalalpur Jattan. The funeral was attended by large number of social and political workers of the Punjab. She was widow of MPA Ch Gul Nawaz Warraich, mother of MPA Ch Moin Nawaz Warraich, sister of late Mian Saif Ullah Tarar MPA/MNA and aunt of late Brig (r) Usman Tarar and close relative of Minister of State for Health Saira Afzal Tarar and Ex-Federal Parliamentary Secretary Mian Afzal Hussain Tarar.
Scores of people from all walks of life including politicians, lawyer, teachers, civil society activists, labourers and scholars attended the funeral and prayed from the departed soul.
