Islamabad - A driver allegedly involved in kidnapping of school girl outside Roots School System was sent to jail on judicial remand.

The victim girl has been kept in shelter house for recording her statement.

According to sources, the driver who had abducted a girl student outside a private school located in Sector I-9/3 on January 17 and had later taken her to Lahore was sent on judicial remand after probe under the orders  of a local court.

The sources said that the abducted girl was recovered from an area near Kalashah Kaku in Lahore. The driver had taken the girl forcibly under the threat that she would be possessed by a genie if she would not come along him.

SHO Police Station I-9 said that the girl would be presented before the magistrate for recording her statement on Monday. The kidnapper was working as driver for the last 3 years with the affected family.
