GUJRANWALA  - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) authorities have arrested 14 accused involved in fraud, selling products on fake monograms and human trafficking here on Saturday.

FIA Deputy Director Mufakhir Adeel said that accused Abdul Basit and his wife Sajida were involved in bank fraud; Naveed Hussain and Muhammad Sarfraz were selling their products by using the monogram of a national level company.

Meanwhile, the FIA teams also arrested 10 human traffickers by conducting raids at Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Phalia and Gujrat. These human traffickers include Amir, Asghar Ali, Amanat, Zeeshan , Qadir Ahmed and Umer Hayyat wanted by FIA for the last five years.

Police ASI and revenue official were held red handed while receiving bribe in Hafizabad and Gujrat. Gulshan Bibi resident of Gujrat gave an application to the Anti-Corruption Establishment that ASI Shaheen Chowk police station Etrat Abbas was demanding Rs10,000 bribe for the release his husband. On the application, the circle officer raided and arrested the ASI while receiving bribe from the woman. In second raid an ACE team arrested a land record department official Hafiz Islam while receiving bribe.
