Late journalist paid tribute

KHANEWAL - A condolence meeting of senior journalists and members of Khanewal Press Club was held to pay tribute to the services of late Rao Sarwar. The meeting was presided over by Syed Hammad Shah, convened by Adnan Saeed, and was attended by Sajid Pervaiz, Raza Qadri, Sajid Khan, Saleem Nasir, Ashraf Paracha and other members of the press club. All the participants prayed for rest of the departed soul in eternal peace.
Speaking on the occasion, the participants paid glowing tribute to the services of Rao Sarwar for journalism and society.
They also condemned negligence of the govt in the health sector. Blaming poor healthcare delivery and negligence of the medics, they regretted that the apathy had resulted in sad demise of Rao Sarwar.
The deceased was a prominent journalist of Khanewal and was suffering from cancer. He was admitted to MINAR Hospital in Multan where he died of a cardiac arrest. They flayed the government for spending billions of rupees on Metro and Speedo like projects but doing nothing noticeable for health sector.
