NOORPUR THAL - Parents of a disabled girl have appealed to the government as well as philanthropists to help them for treatment of their girl who has been suffering from a mysterious disease since her birth.

Mehreen Akhtar, 5, daughter of Kasur Hussain Awan, resident of Mohallah Awanwala, Noor Pur Thal has been suffering from a mysterious disease since the day she was born. Talking to media, Kasur Hussain said Mehreen Akhtar cannot walk. He said that he and his wife have sold out all their belongings for treatment of their daughter but her condition is turning from bad to worse with each passing day.

According to parents, they struggled hard for treatment of their daughter but could not succeed because of poverty. As a result, the disabled girl is lying on bed in the house.

They appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and philanthropists to help them mitigate their sufferings by providing treatment facility for their daughter.

He said that Imran Khan,Tahiraul Qadri and Asif Ali Zardari could neither compete with the PML-N nor reduce its vote bank.

PML-N Youth Wing Punjab Vice President Malik Khalid Awan, PML-N district vice president Malik Aziz Hussain, divisional leader Malik Imran Bashir Awan, Tehsil Noor Pur Thal president Malik Manzoor Ahmad and other leaders were also present.
