Lahore - The eight days long 38th International Fair of Khartoum Sudan to start today in Khartoum, Sudan. Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in coordination with the Embassy of Pakistan in Sudan has finalised necessary arrangements for participation in this event. Khartoum Fair is one of the largest Fair of Sudan and TDAP is participating in this event under “Look Africa policy” of the Ministry of Commerce. Thus 17 leading companies of Pakistan from different export-oriented sectors such as Engineering, Surgical, Beauty products, Pharmaceuticals, Agro Food, and others shall showcase their products in this event. TDAP and Embassy of Pakistan have invited leading buyers to visit Pakistan pavilion and procure products from Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention that the terminal has so far contributed approximately 10 billion rupees to the national exchequer in terms of royalty payment of $2.27 for every tonnes of cargo handled, and other duties and taxes.
