Khanewal - Tahir Mehmood Chaudhary, Director Multan Arts Council Multan has said that registration has been started for Punjab Talent Hunt Programme 2021-22 in Multan division,
Talent hunt competition will be held on February 3, 2022. Tahir Mehmood added that competitions would be organised in six categories including music, fine arts, literature, handicraft, cultural dance and theater at district, division and then Punjab level.
In this connection, the intending candidates should download registration forms from the website of Punjab Arts Council or get the same from the office of the Multan Arts Council.
This was disclosed by Director MAC in the Meeting with delegation of senior working journalist forum (SWJF), district press club Khanewal, delegation includes Anjum Bashir Ahmad, Qulzam Bashir Ahmad, Faisal Arshad Ch. Tahir Mehmood further said that to acknowledge the talent of artists the top position holders in each category would be granted cash prize of 200,000 rupees at provincial level competition, while the second and third position holders will get prizes of 50,000 rupees and rupees 100,000, respectively.
He further added that Punjab government has allocated rupees 150 million for repair and renovation of six arts councils of Punjab including Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. In this connection in Multan Arts Council repair and renovation work of event hall has started.
