Various cities and towns of Punjab have been closed on the call of traders bodies to protest against power load outages in the province on Tuesday. Angry protesters attacked some shops which were seen opened. According to a private TV channel most of the shopping centres and markets have been closed on the strike call. Angry mobs attacked some shops which were found open during the strike. The shopkeepers blamed the traders association for the attack. The leaders of the traders body however denied the allegations and said that they were not involved in these incidents and their protest is peaceful.
