KHAN GARH - Special steps have been initiated to discourage the trend of registration of fake cases to ensure justice to the poor people. A comprehensive strategy has been chalked out to improve the police public image by bridge the gap between the people and police. DSP Muzaffargarh Saddar Circle Ghulam Musataf Gujjar expressed the views during a tea party organised in his honour by members of Khan Garh Press Club here in the club the other day. The DSP claimed that special monitoring mechanism had been evolved to check the registration of fake FIR and take stern action against both the officials and people involved in the malpractice. He said that since his posting in the circle he had initiated various measures to build-capacity of the police personnel and to purge the department of black sheep. Today the media is fully independent and media should perform its due role for pinpointing the wrongdoings and corruption in society with utmost responsibility, he argued. DSP Gujjar said that said that there was no place for corrupt police officers under his subordination and honest officers would be encouraged to boost the moral of the police personnel. Moreover, he claimed that the crime ratio had been decreased in the Muzaffargarh Circle considerably. He said that the community policing had been promoted and civil society must extend cooperation to materialise the dream of crime free society. Khan Garh Press Club President Nazir Sandeelah, Rana Amjad Ali Amjad, Mozzam Dogar, Shahid Hussain Khan and Malik Abdul Ghafoor and Irfanullah Khan also spoke on the occasion.
