LAHORE Pakistan Workers Confederation Punjab has demanded radical social and economic reforms for equal distribution of resources, practical measures for overcoming energy crises and enforcement of labour laws. In a meeting chaired by President PWC Punjab Rubina Jamil here at Bukhtiar Labour Hall on Wednesday, the participants expressed concerns over nonpayment of educational scholarship, death and marriage grant and lack of implementation of minimum wages for workers. Ch Talib Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Fazal Wahid, Yousaf Baloch, Khushi Muhammad Khokhar, Mahmood Butt, Osam Tairq, Salah-ud-Din Ayubi and Khurshid Ahmad participated in the meeting. The participants urged the government to take measures for restoring peace in the country. They warned the government of a protest if genuine demands of workers were not fulfilled.
