MIRPUR - The leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is holding meetings with Kashmiri groups working on behalf of PPAJK stalwarts in London and Islamabad to decide about the next AJK prime minister. Well-placed sources in the PPP told TheNation that to decide the top slots for the next AJK government, a significant meeting had been scheduled on July 24. The PPAJK has emerged as a single largest party in the house of 49 Members of Legislative Assembly after winning its 22 seats so far. It is in a comfortable position to establish its government without the support of any political party, however some clues indicate that a coalition government would be formed in AJK. Sources said as the election process neared its wrap-up, the supporters, investors and lobbyists of the concerning candidates for the office of the prime minister are in the race to seek the party leadership support in London and others cities of the UK. The reports suggest that the campaigners of PPAJK leaders were in stiff contest to win the coveted AJK premiership. The sources in PPP told this scribe that the supporters of the enviable AJK prime ministers seat were raising money to campaign for their relevant competitors. It has been further been learnt that money dealings and anxious activities are taking place between some contenders and top stakeholders in twins cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. It has also been alleged that dealings are taking place to keep such deals secret through their anxious activities in London by the supporters of these contenders.
