ISLAMABAD - On the direction of President Asif Ali Zardai, a shut-up call was given to Ch Abdul Majeed, President PPP-AJK, asking him to issue rejoinder on a news report regarding his aspects of becoming future prime minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, sources told TheNation on Wednesday. Earlier for the last two days, Ch Abdul Majeed has started a media campaign, especially in the newspapers of AJK, claiming that the President of Pakistan has nominated him as next Prime Minister of AJK. The sources said that act of Ch Abdul Majeed was noticed and upon the direction of President Zardari on Tuesday in Zardari House, Ch abdul Majeed was given a shut-up call. Zardari has strictly asked all the newly elected MLAs to refrain from dragging the matter into media, the sources added. For the announcement of party tickets on women reserved seats, Majeed was not included in the team on the special instruction of President Asif Ali Zardari. An important development surfaced when on Wednesday President before departing to Saudi Arabia, constituted a team to announce award of party tickets to women on reserved seats. Fouzia Wabab, Rukhsana Bangash, Samina Khalid Ghurki, Rizwan Qureshi and Ch Yasin, a newly elected MLA of AJK, were directed to announce the tickets from AJK capital Muzaffarabad.
