ISLAMABAD (APP) - A leading Korean company requires Pakistani engineers having experience in power and environment plant projects for their home office in Korea and for its projects in the Middle East. Talking to APP, Managing Director of Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), Saeed Ahmed Sheikh said that demand of Pakistani engineers has recently increased in South Korea for various fields. Bachelor's degree or those with equivalent degrees holders could apply for Korea. However, for power and environment plant projects, 45 years age with five years experience would be required for eligibility. To a question about the terms and conditions of employment, he said for head office in Seoul and site office in Middle East, applicant should be single. Salary will be negotiated depending on work experience and interview result. Sheikh said contract period (renewable) would be one year with work timing 8 and 10 hours per day for head office and site office from Monday to Friday respectively. The company would also pay overtime payment at home and site offices.
