OUR STAFF REPORTER JHANG - Three women killed and three other injured in different incidents and mishaps in and around the city the other day. As per detail, one Perveen Bibi, daughter of Sher Bahadur, a resident of Chak 216 Mochiwala, was admitted in gyne ward of RHC Mochiwala for delivery case. Where doctor and staff demanded an amount of Rs10,000 as fees illegally. The father paid Rs8,000 while the staff were demanding remaining Rs2,000. The doctor and staff annoyed and showed carelessness towards the patient. However, after delivery the patient Perveen Bibi died due to carelessness of the doctor and the staff. On the application of Sher Bahadur, the DCO Jhang appointed EDO Health as inquiry officer of the case. It is reported that only a few days back in another similar case in the same RHC Naseem Bibi, wife of Muhammad Nawaz, was also died in the similar situation. Notables from Mochiwala area demanded the DCO Shahid Niaz and EDO Health Dr Khalid Islam to hold an impartial inquiry and stern action should be taken against the doctors and staff responsible. In another incident, a 35-year-old woman Roapan Bibi, a resident of Havaili Jaivan of Jhang, was electrocuted when she was shifting table fan from courtyard to her room. Similarly, on a petty domestic dispute in local Mohallah Jalalabad five people including three women were injured.
