I fully support the Supreme Court’s decision to send PM Gilani packing. What have we not seen in this so-called era of democracy? First of all, we were subjected to unchecked corruption and scandals involving Gilani family albeit directly or indirectly. Even former PM Gilani’s stand vis-à-vis the Supreme Court was pathetic to say the least. I remember his words, “what do you think if I am disqualified will the new prime minister write letter to Swiss Bank’?” Hence, it is easily predictable that the new Prime Minister Raja Ashraf too will prove to be a Prime Minister for Pakistan People Party instead of Pakistan’s. Harris Naeem, Lahore , July20.
