RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD (Online) - Thieves struck at ten places on Saturday in the twin cities and made off with eight vehicles, two motorbikes, cash, valuables and mobile sets. According to details, Mohammad Hamza registered complaint with Westridge police that unknown thieves took away his car (IDS-29) in front of Singapore Plaza and Munawar Hussain in his complaint said that three unknown armed men barged into his house and taken away motorbike (RLA-6620), Rs 100, 000 and three mobile sets. Abdul Qadirs car (LZY-1781) was stolen from Murree and Mohammad Asims car (QNG-9225) was lifted from Wah Cantt. Mohammad Arshads motorbike was taken away from Ariya Muhallah and Asad Mehmoods vehicle was stolen from Dhok Chiragh Din. Irfan Mehmood registered report with Wah Cantt police that he went out of his shop with his friend and dacoits stopped them on way and snatched Rs. 7500 and two mobiles on gun point. Javed Iqbal in his report with Westridge police said that thieves broke locks of his house and made away with Rs 500, 000 and video camera. Basharat Naveed registered report with R.A Bazaar police that thieves broke locks of his house and made away with pistol, Rs 90, 000 and 35 tolas of gold. Mohammad Wasim in his report with Margalla police said that some thieves barged in his house and made away with valuables worth million of rupees. Unknown accused on Saturday deprived two citizens of their vehicles and a woman of her purse in different areas of the city. According to the details, Zahir Ahmed have registered a case with the police station Civil Lines that some unknown accused have stolen his vehicle bearing registration number NW638 from Sher Zaman Colony. Meanwhile, one Ashiq Hussain lodged First Information Report (FIR) with the police station New Town that unknown culprits have taken away his motor bike bearing registration number RIS5156 from B-Block, Satellite Town. Asima Bibi have lodged a complaint with the police station Cannt that some unknown accused have snatched her purse from when she was sitting in her car on Bank road and be off from the scene soon after the incident riding a bike. Police have registered three different cases against unknown accused and started investigation.
