QUETTA Unidentified gunmen shot dead two people and wounded another apparently in an incident of sectarian killing in the provincial capital Sunday night. According to police, the assailants sprayed a volley of bullets on a group of people with sophisticated weapons on Art School Road, which resulted in on the post death of Ali Hassnain and Hassan Ali, hailing from Shia community, while another, identified as Naveed, received multiple wounds. Soon after the incident, law enforcement agencies rushed to the site and shifted the injured and the dead bodies to the Civil Hospital. Meanwhile, the attackers managed to flee the scene under the cover of darkness. Police sources opine that the killings are a part of sectarian violence. However, investigation is underway to ascertain the real motive behind the incident. As the news of latest deaths spread across the city, dozens of enraged people rushed to the hospital. They blocked the Jinnah Road by erecting barricades, as they chanted slogans against the govt and demanded immediate arrest of elements involved in the gruesome act.
