The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has ordered the federal government to appoint chairman and prosecutor general for NAB in one-month time, report said. The court issued the directive in its decision on a petition challenging the appointment of NAB Deputy Chairman Javed Kazi as NABs acting head. A full bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal heard the case registered by Aljihad Trust against the appointment of Deputy Chairman Javed Zia Qazi. The court had reserved the verdict on the same case a month ago. The petition challenged the legal and constitutional use of authority by deputy chairman NAB in the absence of the chairman.
