Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has announced 700 posts of ASIs in Police Department in different newspapers. The same posts had been advertised in June, 2008. Hundred of thousands of candidates had applied for the posts. The large number of applications were received along with compulsory Challan of Rs. 500. But no one knows where the applications were thrown. Despite the fact that a large amount of money was paid for conducting tests, no one asked why the tests werent conducted? Candidates who hardly afford Challan fees, their hopes were watered. The same posts have been advertised again to hoodwink the poor people and there are chances that they might repeat their practice. I request the Chief Justice of Sindh to take notice of this issue and ensure justice. SAJJAD ALI SOOMRO, Sukkur, June 17.
