LAHORE (PR) - The deadly disease Thalassaemia is spreading rapidly across the world and collective efforts should be made for its elimination. This stated by All Pakistan Akhbar Faroosh Federation Secretary General Tikka Khan while addressing a seminar organised by Rifah Welfare Foundation in Sheikhupura on Monday. Hamid Mehmood, Rahat Sarwar Ajum, Miss Tahira Mansha and other also spoke on the occasion, says a press release. They termed the elimination of Thalassaemia would be god blessings. They were of the view that despite having more resources, most of the rulers of the world are giving emphasize on grabbing power in a bid to rule their respective masses but no one is going to give proper attention to this menace and taking measures to eliminate the deadly disease. The speakers emphasised the people to extend their helping hand towards the victims of the disease so that Almighty Allah and its last prophet Muhammad (PBUH) could be pleased. The speakers also stressed the government to take immediate measures for the eradication of Thalassaemia on war-footing.
