RAWALPINDI- Two sisters were killed and one got injured when a gunman opened fire at them in Noor Girls Hostel, Lal Korti, Rawalpindi, on Monday. Three sisters identified as Saima Naz, Saira Naz and Sobia Naz, residents of Attock, were running a private girls hostel in Rawalpindi. Saima and Saira were died on the spot, while the Sobia is critically injured. Sources told this scribe that Asad was interested to marry with Saira Naz and sent his parents to her home. The parents of Saira refused the proposal. Asad made his mind to take revenge from the girls for refusal of his proposal. He entered into said hostel at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, according to eyewitnesses, he soon after reaching the office where all three sisters were present, opened indiscriminate firing, killing two and leaving one critically injured. While talking the media, City Police Office (CPO) Rawalpindi, Azhar Hameed Khokhar said that firing incident took place at the Noor Girls Hostel. Asad, the individual who fired at the sisters, managed to fled the scene. He confirmed that Saima and Saira died of the bullet wounds, while Sobia is in critical condition. Police sources said that dead bodied of two sisters and one injured were later moved to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). Hospital sources told this scribe that two dead bodies were received at hospital and their post-mortem have been completed. However, the third one is critically injured, as doctors are trying to save her life, he added. Police sources further confirmed that case has been registered under section 302/24 of CrPc in Civil Lines Police Station. He said that a team had been formed to arrest the culprit and investigation is under way.
