ISLAMABAD (APP) - National Institute of Folk and Tra-ditional Heritage, Lok Virsa will hold an exhibition of oil paintings by Aisha Asif to mark Pakistan Day here on March 23. The display would be setup at the Hall of Changing Exhibitions, Heritage Museum while renowned painter Mansoor Rahi will inaugurate the event. Aisha uses knife in oil painting mostly and claims that all her paintings are original ideas. In her works, she captures the images of flowers and landscapes, but her love for old architecture is witnessed in the current exhibition in which she paints the remains of our dying architectural heritage in Rawalpindi, mostly obscured by big banners and billboards, Executive Director, Lok Virsa Khalid Javaid said. The artist has exhibited her work only twice before; once in Quetta and once in Rawalpindi and both times in group shows. The exhibition will continue at Lok Virsa till March 29.
