ISLAMABAD Mahak Khokhar moved to next round of the 7th Subh-e-Nau Ladies National Tennis Championship which started here at the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex on Saturday. Mahak outclassed Maryam Shakar Jan in straight sets without conceding a single game. She registered victory with the scoreline of 6-0 and 6-0. Meanwhile in girls u-17, Sahar Mohsin and Eman Quraishi also qualified for the next round. Eman Quraishi got walkover against Mahnoor Afzal Khan. Sahar Mohsin Shiekh beat Humera Gul Saeed at 6-2 and 6-2 to advance in the next round of the national womens tennis fixture. In ladies singles, Khadija Laghari got walkover against Shahida Farooq. Zohra Gul beat General Shahida Badshah by 6-0 and 6-3. In girls juniors u-13, Sahar Mohsin Sheikh beat Amina Atif by 6-0 and 6-0. Ramin Farrukh beat Humera Gul Saeed by 6-1 and 6-2. Main round of the ladies singles will start from Sunday (today) at the same venue followed by girls juniors u-17 fixtures. The final of the championship will be played on March 23.
