MULTAN (APP) - Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association opposed proposal of imposition of value added tax on cotton. PCGA Chairman Haji Akram while chairing a meeting here Saturday said government should reject proposal of value added tax on cotton in next budget. He said cotton should be exempted from value added tax for promotion of agriculture sector. He said imposition of value added tax would affect a major portion of population.
