KARACHI (APP) - C.V Maersk Novazzano and C.V MSC Namibia carrying containers were berthed at Qasim Inernational Container Terminal on Friday, March 19th. Meanwhile, two more ships scheduled to load/offload rice and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorge of Port Qasim during last 24 hours. Berth occupancy was manged at the port at 36pc on Friday where a total of four ships namely C.V Maersk Nocazzano, C.V MSC Namibia, M.V Orient-II and M.V Thea-k were engaed at PQA berths to load/offload containers, cement and rice respectively during last 24 hours. A cargo volume of 36,720 tones comprising 19,500 tones imports and 17,220 tones exports inclusinve of containerizes cargo carried in 2,553 containers (Boxes) was handled at the port during last 24 hours. M.V Thea-k sailed out to sea on Friday afternoon. C.V Maersk Novazzano and C.V MSC Namibia are expected to sail on Saturday afternoon. Three ships M.V Odin Pacific, M.T Advance Victoria and M.T Golden Oceania scheduled to load/offload rice, diesel oil and chemicals are expected to take berths at MW-4, FOTCO and EVTL respectively on Saturday, march 20th, while two more ships C.V Maersk missaouri and C.V QIA Al-Fujaa carrying containers are due to arrive on Sunday, March 21st.
