LAHORE – District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal visited Gora Graveyard and Gulberg Gallery Plaza to inspect the cleanliness arrangement under anti-dengue drive on Wednesday early morning.

The DCO, while visiting Gora graveyard showed satisfaction over cleanliness under Anti-Dengue drive and also appreciated the work of gravediggers. During his visit of an under construction Gulberg Gallery Plaza, the DCO ordered to arrest a person namely Nadeem Nawaz on account of negligence which caused stagnation of water in the plaza premises. He has also directed Towns Administration to make proper arrangements for Anti-Dengue drive in their respective towns.

Meanwhile, the DCO has said that as many as 130 affected families of Joseph colony incident had so far been shifted to their newly constructed and repaired homes, which were set on fire some days back.

He expressed these views during a visit of Joseph Colony for checking the construction work. The CDGL officials were also along with him. He said on the occasion that remaining families would be shifted to their homes within two days.
