LAHORE–Former MPA of Muslim League-Q from Bahawalpur, Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town here Wednesday.

Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran expressed his complete trust in the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, and announced to join the PML-N. PML-N leaders Tahir Bashir Cheema, Najeeb Awaisi, Ali Hassan Gillani and Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar were also present on the occasion.

Welcoming joining of PML-N by Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the PML-N government in Punjab has established new records of public service, during the last five years and people are benefiting from the development projects completed throughout the province. He said, “as a result of public welfare projects, PML-N has emerged as the most popular political party of the country, Pakistan Muslim League-N would, form its government in all provinces, including in federation, with the support of the people, while the development works initiated in Punjab would be expanded throughout the country.”  The CM said that adherence to merit was the only effective way to put the country on the road towards progress, prosperity and development. He said Punjab government had strictly followed the policy of merit, throughout its five years, and has eliminated the culture of corruption, nepotism and Safarish in the province.

Malik Muhammad Khalid Waran said that the CM has served the people day and night during the last five years, besides completing record development work throughout the province. He said that the former rulers placed the country into a vortex of problems and difficulties, but the dynamic leadership of Nawaz Sharif would bring the country out of these difficulties, for which whole nation was looking towards him. He said he would work under the dynamic leadership of Nawaz Sharif to serve the people as a party member, and would play his vigorous role to further strengthen the party in his area.
