ISLAMABAD – The ICT Administration has decided to hold the 11th free pollen allergy relief camp at Aabpara Community Centre from March 22, a spokesman of the local administration said.Arrangements for the camp were reviewed at a high level meeting chaired by the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Tariq Mahmood Pirzada and it was decided to hold 11th free pollen allergy camp. Timing of the camp will be from 9 am to 4 pm and all the medicines and inhalers would be provided free of cost to the patients. Free treatment facilities include homeopath, allopathic and tib-e-unani with separate counters for male, female and children patients.Drug Inspector, Islamabad, Sarda Shabir Ahmed has said through a press statement that ICT Administration had been holding these camps since 2004 and as many as 59,122 patients had been treated during the last 10 years. He said the chemists and pharmaceutical companies had been co-operating with the administration in the past in the form of donations for these camps. He further said that Dr. Osman Yousaf, Hakeem Rizwan Hafeez, Dr. Athar Rana and Dr. Nasir Ch. would be available at the camp, like previous years. Doctors and para-medical staff of district health department of ICTA would also provide their services. Chief Commissioner has appreciated the services of all those who are providing relief to the patients during the allergy season, either by donating medicines for the patients or making sure their availability at the camp.
